Announcing Two New Policy Briefs: “The Dirty Truth about Clean Eating” and “Autism, Race, and Housing Justice”

New Policy Briefs: The Dirty Truth about Clean Eating / Autism, Race & Housing Justice

We’re proud to announce the release of two new policy briefs: The Dirty Truth about Clean Eating and Autism, Race, and Housing Justice. Based on our policy priorities set out in our 2022 Community Priorities Policy Report, these briefs describe current policies and practices regarding food justice and housing—and offer policymakers potential solutions to address inequities and promote the well-being of autistic people of color. The Dirty Truth about Clean Eating investigates the relationship between disability, socioeconomic disparities, racial injustice, cultural insensitivity, and disordered eating, while Autism, Race, and Housing Justice explores the connections between autism, race, and unstable housing. We hope that advocates, policymakers, and others interested in racial and disability justice will use our briefs to inform both policy and practice.
